At first I thought you meant this.

HAHA I mean that would be neat but I'd rather have a Skyline.

While the R34 is interesting, there are a few things I'd want first. Mainly, one of the 1,905 Alcyone SVXs with 4 Wheel Steering. Also on that list, a Legacy Touring GT-B and a Legacy B4 Blitzen .

Don't make me ride down the bear cavalry and teach you manners!

Unless the prices are dirt cheap, I'd pass. Never really been a fan of the GT-R, too much of a tech-fest.
Of course if it is super cheap, it would make one hell of a winter beater.

Came here to say that

The R32 quicker in a straight line for a little bit.. not for much though, Nissan really sorted out their build quality by the R34 though, every R32 I've driven has been rattley and squeaky. R33's and 34's not so much.

ill do whatever i can to obtain one. I think of it as a life goal.

Well....In 12 years I'm going to get one of these cause I am a broke student
![]() 12/17/2013 at 21:20 |

I always preferred them anyway, i hope in 12 years the debt will be gone for me, so i can dream

How did I see both Stickered and plated R32's and R34's on sunday?
![]() 12/17/2013 at 21:32 |
|
Im not sure.. i have seen quite a few R32s in the past, and an R33, but never an R34.. i assume its just a tag and sticker from another car, but who knows
![]() 12/17/2013 at 21:36 |

Probably. Show and display?
![]() 12/17/2013 at 22:32 |

But it's so preeeeeeetty. And hopefully commands a lower premium.

Uhm, sorry. No.
You can't have a dirt cheap R34. Keep moving.

R34 GT-R's are around twice the price as R32 GT-R's here. $18-20k will get a decent unmodified R32 GT-R.
R34 GT-R's start at 40ish and go all the way up to 80-90 for V-specs in showroom condition.. and they're most definitely not double the car the R32's are.
![]() 12/17/2013 at 23:02 |

Probably.. ive only seen the plated cars at car shows

Midnight purple no question. Probably on an R32 though, since those are close to being available.

Well then I guess I'll just have to import myself a RX7 R Bathurst instead once they hit the 25 year mark
![]() 12/18/2013 at 07:56 |
|
So I'm looking at around $35,000 to import and register an R32. Not bad.
![]() 12/18/2013 at 16:36 |

yeah that should be plenty, you should be able to get a really nice one for that.
This one has two days left at auction, will probably sell for over $25kUSD.
import monster - Skyline GT-R
but most aren't in quite as ridiculously good condition, with a little wear will go for under $10k at auction. just add shipping fees, duties, taxes and compliance costs. In Australia that includes welding intrusion bars into the doors and replacing all of the seatbelts with the self retracting type if they don't already have them. Not sure what they do in the States though.

I'm with you brother. I love the R34 front end...so I'm hoping I can scratch enough together to do the whole "R324" conversion to the front (but leave the ass alone), but the R32 is my preference.
![]() 12/18/2013 at 16:49 |

I mean the R34 is great looking, but I'm a sucker for a late '80s Japanese car.
![]() 12/18/2013 at 16:50 |

I'll probably need the intrusion bars, airbags, seat belts and all the lights will have to be DOT compliant.
![]() 12/18/2013 at 16:52 |

Same here that why I was about to tell you to get the flamesuit out again.
![]() 12/18/2013 at 17:00 |
|
oh right! lights will have to bias to the other side because you all drive on the wrong side of the road.
Airbags were an option from August 1991 on the GT-R's, so you won't be able to get them to begin with anyway.
